News Gunn Will Be Part of Free NY Philharmonic Central Park Concert Baritone Nathan Gunn, the recent star of the New York Philharmonic presentation of Camelot, will join the acclaimed orchestra for a concert on the Great Lawn in Central Park.

Presented on July 17 at 8 PM, the free concert will feature Gunn and the Philharmonic performing selected Mozart arias, selections from Aaron Copeland's "Old American Songs" and Mahler's Symphony No. 1. Alan Gilbert will conduct.

Gunn appeared as Gaylord Ravenal in the concert staging of Show Boat at Carnegie Hall and as Lancelot in Camelot with the New York Philharmonic. His numerous operatic credits include The Firebird of Florence, Billy Budd, Hamlet, The Magic Flute, An American Tragedy, Love and Other Demons and André Previn's Brief Encounter. Gunn also lent his vocals to the 2009 complete recording of Rodgers and Hammerstein's Allegro.
