De Guzman, who starred as Luisa in the North Shore Music Theatre's recent production of Nine, will play the Manhattan cabaret April 2 (at 9:30 PM) and April 4, 7 and 11 (at 7 PM). The talented soprano will offer an eclectic array of material backed by musical director Larry Yurman on piano. Featuring direction by Forbidden Broadway’s Gerard Alessandrini, the evening will include tunes by Bernstein, Loesser, Strouse, Swados, Jobim, Sondheim, Lane, Waldman, Marren, Porter, Friedman and Carrion. In addition to her Tony-nominated work in Guys and Dolls and West Side Story, de Guzman has also appeared at The Public Theatre, Alley Theatre, Hartford Stage, Mark Taper Forum, Great Lakes Theatre, Kennedy Center and the Guthrie. She made her Broadway debut in Runaways, and her screen credits include"Third Watch," "The Cosby Show," "Deadline," “Miami Vice", “FX” and “FX2.”
