Sengbloh, currently featured in the "White Boys" trio in the Tony-winning Broadway revival of Hair, will offer a 9:30 PM solo concert of original music featuring Kojo Modibo Sun, comprised of band members Scott Patterson, Damian Moore, Toby Wine and David Alston. Following her engagement in Hair, Sengbloh will also appear in the Broadway production of Tony winner Bill T. Jones' Fela!, which is set to begin previews at the Eugene O'Neill Theatre Oct. 19. She has also appeared in the Broadway productions of Aida, Wicked and The Color Purple. Her film credits include "American Gangster" and "Across the Universe." Her solo debut album "Southern Pin-Up" is currently available.
