News Hamilton and Fun Home Will Be Heard on Annual "Carols for a Cure" CD Casts and musicians from current Broadway shows are in the midst of recording tunes for "Broadway’s Carols for a Cure, Volume 17," featuring traditional and original holiday songs to benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. Pre-sale orders are being taken now.

The two-CD 2015 recording will feature performers from Hamilton, Chicago, Kinky Boots and more. The list and the release date are still being finalized.

Here's a sampling: Leslie Odom and Okieriete Onaodowan of Hamilton lead singers from his show on a new version of "Joy to the World" that includes a spoken section about America during colonial times. Beth Malone, Joel Perez, Lauren Patten, Jim Stanek, Emily Skeggs, Kally Duling of Fun Home sing "Home's with You." Telly Leung of Allegiance contributed "All I Want for Christmas is You." Singers from Chicago perform an original song, "Christmas in Fishnets," while School of Rock goes for a lesser-known classic, "Mary, Did You Know?"
