National Tour News Hamilton Sets Dates for Boston Engagement The Broadway in Boston 2017-2018 season will also include Fun Home and Waitress.

The Tony and Pulitzer Prize-winning musical Hamilton will arrive in Boston in 2018. Lin-Manuel Miranda's hip-hop take on Founding Father Alexander Hamilton will play the Boston Opera House September 18–November 18, 2018.

The Broadway in Boston 2017-2018 season will launch with Andrew Lloyd Webber's The Phantom of the Opera, beginning September 13, 2017. Broadway's longest-running musical will continue through October 1 at the Massachusetts venue. Later in the season, Lloyd Webber's sequel to the international phenomenon, Love Never Dies, will be presented January 30–February 11, 2018.

Fun Home, the Tony Award-winning musical by Jeanine Tesori and Lisa Kron—based on Alison Bechdel’s graphic memoir—will head to Boston October 17–29, 2017. Additionally, two musicals from last season are also on the slate: Waitress (which had its world premiere at Boston's American Repertory Theater), running February 20–March 4, 2018, and On Your Feet! The Story of Emilio and Gloria Estefan, playing April 17–29, 2018.

The Broadway in Boston lineup also includes the Disney hit Aladdin (July 3–August 5, 2018) and the Tony-winning musical comedy The Book of Mormon (August 14–26, 2018). The latter is included as an additional season option.
