News   Hamlet Benefit, with Anna Chlumsky, Darrell Hammond, Austin Pendleton, Shirley Knight, Presented Feb. 21 Anna Chlumsky, Darrell Hammond, Austin Pendleton, Shirley Knight and Fred Willard take the stage Feb. 21 for a gala benefit reading of Hamlet for the Frog and Peach Theatre Company.

Frog and Peach artistic director Lynnea Benson directs the 7:30 PM reading at the Player's Club. Hamlet has live music by Ian McDonald.

The cast features Chlumsky (So Help Me God, "In the Loop") as Ophelia, Hammond ("Saturday Night Live") as Guildenstern, Tony nominee Pendleton (Three Sisters, The Little Foxes, Fiddler on the Roof) as Claudius and the Ghost, Tony and Academy Award nominee Knight (The Young Man from Atlanta, "Sweet Bird of Youth") as Gertrude, Willard ("Anchorman," "Waiting for Guffman") as Horatio, David Margulies (Brighton Beach Memoirs, A Thousand Clowns, "Sopranos") as Polonius and Gravedigger, Ted Zurkowski ("Boys on the Side") as Hamlet and Ryan Tramont ("The Hurt Locker") as Laertes.

Completing the company are Lenny Ciotti (Osric), Erick Gonzalez (Fortinbras), Ross Beshear (Rosencrantz), and Alan Altschuler (The Player).

Proceeds from the gala benefit the upcoming Frog and Peach production of A Midsummer Night's Dream, which will run April 26-May 20.
