The artists will perform in Forward to Broadway, inspired (as is the tradition of this cabaret series) by the museum's current exhibit. This season's exhibit is "The Jewish Daily Forward: Embracing an Immigrant Community," focusing on the famous newspaper. The eighth cabaret of the museum's "Perform" series "explores the rich heritage of Yiddish theatre and its influences on Broadway."

Tony Award winner Sheldon Harnick, lyricist for shows such as Fiddler on the Roof, The Rothschilds and Fiorello!, heads the show, written and directed by Michael Montel. Lawrence Yurman will be musical director. Ulanet recently appeared in Broadway's LoveMusik, and Heller's credits include the new William Finn revue, Make Me a Song.

Museum of the City of New York is located at 1220 Fifth Avenue at 104th Street in Manhattan.

Reservations are required. Admission is $10 for members, seniors, and students; $15 general public. For more information visit www.mcny.org or call (212) 534-1672, ext. 3395.
