A veteran of TheaterWorks' stage, Prinz takes the Maria Callas role in McNally's bio-drama of the famous opera diva as she conducts master classes with various students. Her other credits include Last Lists of My Mad Mother at TheatreWorks, A Delicate Balance at Virginia Stage, the national tour of Driving Miss Daisy, and a role in Off Broadway's Tales of the Last Formicans.

Reprising their Broadway roles will be Lorraine Goodman and Darren Motise. Also in the cast are Joseph Cassidy, Suzan Postel and James Hook.

Tickets are $25-$20 and available by calling (860) 527-7838. TheaterWorks is located at 233 Pearl Street.

TheaterWorks spent nearly half a million dollars on bringing their downtown Hartford venue back in the "constructionist" style of the late 1920's (the theatre was built in 1927). Improvements include state-of the-art seating, risers and new lighting and sound equipment. -- By Christine Ehren
