Presented at the Kaye Playhouse at Hunter College, the evening of song coincides with Barbra Streisand's Brooklyn concert debut this week at the new Barclays Center.

The iconic performer, who starred in Funny Girl and "Yentl," also released a new album of never-before-heard material, "Release Me," on Oct. 8.

Scott Nevins, who hosts the 8 PM concert, also presents the benefit along with Joe Lodato. Brad Gardner serves as the evening's music director.

In addition to Luft (Promises, Promises; Guys and Dolls), Brown (Mary Poppins), Callaway (Swing!) and Streisand impersonator Brinberg, the concert promises performances by Tituss Burgess ("30 Rock," The Little Mermaid), Nick Adams (Priscilla: Queen of the Desert), Von Smith ("Opening Act"), Saycon Sengbloh (Wicked, Fela!), Marty Thomas (Xanadu, Wicked), Erin Quill (Avenue Q), Natalie Toro (A Tale of Two Cities), Kristy Cates (Wicked), Natalie Joy Johnson (Legally Blonde), Jim Caruso ("Cast Party" at Birdland) and recording artist Kelly King.

"We're going to celebrate the music and artistry that has garnered generation after generation of devoted fans," Nevins said in a previous statement. "And it seemed obvious that an evening like this should benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS and their efforts to ensure that those who need them most have medications, healthy meals and safe places to sleep." Streisand is an artist in multiple disciplines. She is an award-winning actress, recording artist, concert performer, film director, producer, screenwriter, songwriter, philanthropist, designer, photographer, author and activist. Streisand is the only artist ever to receive an Oscar, Tony, Emmy, Grammy, Directors Guild of America, Golden Globe, National Medal of Arts and Peabody Awards as well as France's Legion d'Honneur and the American Film Institute's Lifetime Achievement Award. She is the recipient of two Oscars, five Emmys, 10 Grammys, a Tony and 12 Golden Globes including the Cecil B. DeMille Award. She is also the first female film director to receive the Kennedy Center Honors. The three films she directed received 14 Oscar nominations.
