Appearing as a guest on the "Rosie O'Donnell Show" Feb. 3, First Lady Hillary Clinton talked about appearing in an Arkansas production of Bye Bye Birdie when she was a girl, then joined with O'Donnell in singing several lines from the Strouse & Adams song "The Telephone Hour."

"Did they really get pinned?" Clinton sang.

"Did she kiss him and cry?" responded O'Donnell, who claims an encyclopedic knowledge of showtunes.

On the show, Clinton told the audience she was such a bad singer, the teacher asked her to lip-synch in the show. "I was the original Milli Vanilla," she said, referring to the group Milli Vanilli, which broke up after it was revealed that they had lip-synched to other singers on an award-winning recording.
