News Hudson Stage Presents Reading of New Lee Kalcheim Play, Believer Hudson Stage Company in New York's Westchester County will present a staged reading of Believer, a new play by Emmy-award winning writer Lee Kalcheim Dec. 9.

In it, "a man questions his faith in God, while holding fast to his belief in Santa Claus." The "charming and touching play" will be heard 7:30 PM Dec. 9 at Woodward Hall Theatre, Pace University at 235 Elm Road in Briarcliff Manor, NY. There is a $10 suggested donation; free admission with Pace ID.

Kalcheim's best-known play may be Breakfast With Les and Bess, about a married couple who host a radio show that is about to be canceled due to lack of interest.

Hudson Stage is the major resident Equity company devoted to contemporary works in Westchester County, north of New York City. Full productions, readings and special concert events punctuate its season.
