News Hunter Foster, Julia Murney, Emily Skinner Among Broadway Stars Set for Muny Season Seven musicals will be seen this summer at the St. Louis venue.

The Muny, the famed outdoor theatre in St. Louis, has announced initial principal casting for its 98th season, including Broadway stars Hunter Foster, Julia Murney, Emily Skinner, Ken Page, Michelle Williams and Ann Harada.

The seven shows that comprise the forthcoming season at the 11,000-seat theatre are The Wizard Of Oz (June 13-22), 42nd Street (June 24-30), The Music Man (July 5-11), Young Frankenstein (July 13-19), Mamma Mia! (July 21-28), Fiddler On The Roof (July 30-August 5), and Elton John and Tim Rice’s Aida (August 8-14).

Initial casting follows:

The Wizard Of Oz: Danielle Bowen (Dorothy), Peggy Roeder (Miss Gultch/The Wicked Witch of the West), Leah Berry (Glinda, The Good Witch), Nicholas Rodriguez (Hank/The Tinman) and Stephen Wallem (Zeke/The Lion).

42nd Street: Shuler Hensley (Julian Marsh), Emily Skinner (Dorothy Brock), Jonalyn Saxer (Peggy Sawyer), Jay Armstrong Johnson (Billy Lawlor), Ann Harada (Maggie Jones) and Jason Kravits (Bert Berry).

The Music Man: Hunter Foster (Harold Hill), Mark Linn-Baker (Mayor Shinn), Nancy Anderson (Eulalie Mackecknie Shinn) and Liz McCartney (Mrs. Paroo).

Young Frankenstein: Josh Grisetti (Dr. Frederick Frankenstein), Stephanie Gibson (Inga), Steven Rosen (Igor), Vicki Lewis (Frau Blucher) and Jen Cody (Elizabeth).

Mamma Mia!: Julia Murney (Donna), Ann Harada (Rosie) and Jenny Powers (Tanya).

Fiddler On The Roof: Michael McCormick (Tevye), Anne L. Nathan (Golde) and Nancy Opel.

Elton John and Tim Rice’s Aida: Michelle Williams (Aida), Zak Resnick (Radames), Elizabeth Stanley (Amneris), Patrick Cassidy (Zoser), Ken Page (Amonasro) and Lara Teeter (Pharaoh).
