Presented at 9:30 PM through Aug. 30, the Jamboree boasts a regular cast of performers in addition to weekly special guests.
The Joe Iconis Rock and Roll Jamboree promises "a laid-back, fired-up evening of Iconis tunes, featuring new jams, old faithfuls, and glimpses into the future. Songs of hate and hope, suburbia and pornography, cougars and jailbait, dead people and livin' things, and more sing-alongs than you can shake a glass of whiskey at."
Special guests include The Wedding Singer's Finley and A Chorus Line's Tam (Aug. 9), Rent's Rapp (Aug. 16), [title of show] cast member Blickenstaff and Wicked's Lisa Brescia (Aug. 30).
The concerts also feature Addams Family star Rodriguez, as well as Joseph Brent, Katrina Rose Dideriksen, Ian Kagey, Jeremy Morse, Lance Rubin, Brent Stranathan, Jared Weiss, Jason "SweetTooth" Williams and The Kissin’ Kazoo Sisters (Liz Lark Brown and MK Lawson).
Iconis has penned The Black Suits, Bloodsong of Love, ReWrite and The Plant That Ate Dirty Socks, as well as the theatrical concert Things to Ruin.
There is a $10 cover and a $15 food and beverage minimum. Phone (212) 695-6909 for reservations. The Laurie Beechman Theatre is located within The West Bank Cafe at 407 West 42nd St.
