The Vineyard Theatre stages the world premiere of Gloria by Branden Jacob-Jenkins, whose recent play An Octoroon garnered critical acclaim and two separate extended Off-Broadway runs. Featured in the cast is In the Heights and Fortress of Solitude star Kyle Beltran, who replaced Lin-Manuel Miranda during the Broadway run of Heights.

The cast also features Jeanine Serralles ("Inside Llewyn Davis"), Jennifer Kim ("Mozart in the Jungle", Catherine Combs ("Smokefall), Michael Crane (Winter's Tale) and Ryan Spahn ("He's Way More Famous Than You").

Evan Cabnet directs, who returns to the Vineyard following his direction of Outside People. Previews of Gloria began May 28 with an official opening set for June 15.

Jenkins makes his Vineyard main stage debut with Gloria. The newest work follows an ambitious group editorial assistants at a notorious Manhattan magazine, whose ordinary workday becomes anything but as the stakes get increasingly higher.

The production features scenic design by Takeshi Kata, costume design by Ilona Somogyi, lighting design by Matt Frey and sound design by Matt Tierney.

Jenkins is a 2014 Obie Award winner and recipient of the Vineyard's Paula Vogel Playwriting Award; his earlier works include Appropriate, War and Neighbors. For more information, call the box office at (212) 353-0303 or visit VineyardTheatre.
