Now young playwright Danny Goldfarb goes even further in mixing Jewish comedy with Greek tragedy. According to producer James Simon, Goldfarb will direct his new play, Oedipus Jew, at an industry reading Dec. 15-16 at a midtown space. Goldfarb (22), a Juilliard playwriting grad, penned Oedipus Jew when he was 19. Says producer Simon, "picture Euripides meets Woody Allen, and you get the idea."
