News Into the Woods Star Heads to Cutting Room for Nov. 7 Concert Trent Armand Kendall, who portrays the Steward in the Tony-winning revival of Into the Woods at the Broadhurst Theatre, will perform in concert at The Cutting Room on Thursday, Nov. 7.

Trent Armand Kendall, who portrays the Steward in the Tony-winning revival of Into the Woods at the Broadhurst Theatre, will perform in concert at The Cutting Room on Thursday, Nov. 7. Kendall, who also understudies the role of the Baker in the Stephen Sondheim-James Lapine musical, will offer an 11 PM concert. The actor singer will be backed by Jason DeBord on piano, Mo Roberts on drums, Cary Potts on bass and Lily White on saxophone. Capathia Jenkins will be Kendall's special guest vocalist, with back-up vocals provided by Kathy Brier, Daria Hardeman, Frank Lawson and Miron Lockett.

Trent Armand Kendall originated the roles of Mrs. Taylor and Rev. Hightower in the Off-Broadway musical Bat Boy. His other theatrical credits include Five Guys Named Moe; Hey, Mr Producer!; Finian's Rainbow; Nunsense — Amen!; Wizard of Oz; Juba; Smokey Joe's Cafe and the Canadian premiere of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.
