Michael Kleeman is the young star of the Engeman Theatre production of Lionel Bart's Oliver!, which begins performances Nov. 28.

Stephen Nachamie directs the musical tale of a young orphan boy who takes to the streets of London. Performances will continue at the Long Island venue through Jan. 4, 2009. Oliver! also features Michelle DeJean (Chicago) as Nancy, Neal Benari (Fiddler on the Roof) as Fagin, Rob Gallagher (Les Miserables) as Bill Sykes, as well as Troy Doherty (Dodger), Stephanie Keller (Charlotte), Jane Blass (Widow Corney), Terry Palasz (Mrs. Sowerberry), Bruce Rebold (Dr. Grimwig) and Roger Preston Smith (Mr. Sowerberry).

The ensemble comprises Alexis Henderson, Courtney Brown, Kate Loitz, Matthew Naclerio, Nicolina Sciascia, Rebecca Stavis, Jacob Thompson, Kit Treece, Amber Ward, Ian Buchman, McLean Carlin, Salvatore Casto, Karl Dill, Lauren Doherty, Troy Doherty, Christian Eble, Nancy Fallon, Jenna Goerke, Rachel Goerke, Celia Kleeman, Holden Koestner, Adam Lawrence, Dylan Sage Perles, Zoe Kaya Perles, Austin Pogrob, Michael Recchia, Larry Saperstein, Camden Selby, Alexa Sgroi and Jake Siegfried.
