Burch's new cabaret act, Second Coming, features songs by Martin Charnin (the actress' Tony-winning husband, who also directs the show) as well as Jule Styne, Vernon Duke, Maury Yeston and Ira Gershwin. Additional material was penned by Burch's musical director, Keith Levenson. Second Coming, according to press notes, "takes a musical look at the many aspects of love — from those exciting first moments made in a new relationship, to the choices a woman makes as she confronts a career and children, to the wonderful calm that comes when love is allowed to enter one's life, with no holds barred and no questions asked…when love and love alone becomes the answer."

Shelly Burch was seen on Broadway in Nine, Stop the World—I Want to Get Off and Annie. She also spent eight years playing Delila on "One Life to Live."

Show times are Feb. 25-28 at 7:30 PM and March 1-2 at 7 PM.

The Metropolitan Room is located at 34 West 22nd Street (between 5th and 6th Avenues). For reservations call (212) 206-0440 or visit www.metropolitanroom.com.
