The workshop will culminate in a private industry presentation on Nov. 4 at The Peter J. Sharp Theater.

Loveless, Texas has music and lyrics by Henry Aronson and libretto by Cailin Heffernan; Heffernan will direct the workshop.

The cast will feature Tony Award winner Jarrod Emick, Brandon Wardell, Jenn Colella, Katie Rose Clarke, Heath Calvert, Sarah Glendening, Jeremy Woodard, Amanda Lea Lavergne, Jason Loughlin and Kelly Maier.

Loveless, Texas, according to press notes, is a "romantic musical comedy set in Texas in 1929. The book is loosely based on Shakespeare's Love's Labour's Lost, and the Americana-flavored score ranges from Texas swing to bluegrass, blues, and Cajun waltz."
