The 7:30 PM event will feature a discussion with Tony Award winner Sher (Golden Boy, South Pacific), four-time Tony Award nominee O'Hara (Nice Work If You Can Get It, South Pacific), Pasquale (reasons to be pretty, "Rescue Me") and Brown (Parade, The Last Five Years), moderated by Tony Award-winning composer/lyricist Adam Guettel (The Light in the Piazza). Songs from the show will also be performed.
The musical, which features a score by Brown (Parade, Songs for a New World) and a book by Tony and Pulitzer Prize winner Marsha Norman (The Secret Garden; 'night, Mother), is based on the best-selling novel by Robert James Waller that was also adapted into an Oscar-nominated film starring Meryl Streep and Clint Eastwood. The story centers on a brief, four-day love affair between a National Geographic photographer and an Italian-American housewife in 1965 Iowa.
The Bridges of Madison County will begin Broadway previews Jan. 17, prior to a Feb. 20 opening night at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre.
