It was recently announced that Duncan will be joined by her son, Jeffrey Correia, who will play Tom Wingfield. The Jennerstown, PA, theatre company will present the Tennessee Williams classic Sept. 15-27. Guy Stroman, who directed Duncan in Casa Manana Theatre's staging of Driving Miss Daisy, will direct.
The Mountain Playhouse 70th anniversary season also includes Bubba's Revenge (Aug. 18-30) and Late Nite Catechism 2 (Sept. 30-Oct. 11).
Sandy Duncan received Tony Award nominations for her performances in Canterbury Tales, The Boy Friend and Peter Pan. Her other Broadway credits include Love Is a Time of Day, My One and Only and Chicago. Also a star of television and film, Duncan was nominated for Emmy Awards for her performances in "Funny Face" and "Roots."
