News Jenna Leigh Green, Russell Fischer and More Sing Songs That Are an Epic Fail Sept. 7-8 Broadway's Epic Fail, a concert event that presents original songs from movies that should never be musicals — as written by theatrical songwriters — is held Sept. 7-8 at Sophie's NYC.

Hosted by Jen Eden, the evenings feature performances by Jenna Leigh Green (Wicked, Bare), Josh Tolle (NYMF's Searching for Romeo), Russell Fischer (Jersey Boys), Mike Backes (Jersey Boys Las Vegas, Rock of Ages national tour), Vanessa Dunleavy, Anthony Festa (Bare, West Side Story in the West End and U.K. tour), Morgan Paige Fluss, Olivia Lombardi (Signature Theatre's A Little Princess), Zak Risinger and Eric R. Williams.

The evenings include numbers from Sixth Sense: A Musical Horror, The Breakfast Club: A Teenage Musical, Supersize ME: The Musical, Mommie Dearest: The Epic Joan Crawford Musical, The King's Speech: A Royal Musical, Snakes on A Plane, Boogie Nights: A New Musical of Epic Proportions and more.

Each song in Broadway's Epic Fail is written by a different composer and/or lyricist. They include Bill Russell (Side Show) and Joe Zellnik (Yank!), Rob Rokicki (Theatreworks/USA's The Lightning Thief), Chris Anselmo (NYMF's Fable), Drew Overcash, Dave Madore, Rebekah M. Allen (We Are The Tigers), Nadav Wiesel, Tim Sulka and Debra Barsha, Michael Murray and Chris Grace, Michael Cooper (Sunfish), Paul Rigano and Mark-Eugene Garcia, Eric Svejcar, Brian Feinstein and Stephen Tyler Davis, James Horan, and Britt Bonney.

Concerts are held Sept. 7 at 6 PM and Sept. 8 at 9:30 PM. Broadway's Epic Fail was conceived and created by Marc Eardley, who directs the concerts.
