Disney's Aladdin, the award-winning musical based on the Academy Award-winning animated film of the same name, is the subject of an entire category on the Jan. 15 episode of "Jeopardy!"

This marks the third time the show has dedicated an entire category to a single Broadway show; for the first time in the history of "Jeopardy!," the show incorporates performance footage from Aladdin in each of the category's clues. Disney welcomed the "Jeopardy!" crew to the New Amsterdam Theatre, Aladdin's home, to film the category's clues on the sets of the production with stars Adam Jacobs (Aladdin), Tony Award nominee Jonathan Freeman (Jafar), 2014 Tony Award winner James Monroe Iglehart (Genie) and Courtney Reed (Jasmine), appearing as their characters.

The musical officially opened on Broadway March 20, 2014, at the New Amsterdam Theatre under the direction of Tony Award-winning director-choreographer Casey Nicholaw.
