Ferland (Sunday in the Park With George), who created the role of Little Red Riding Hood on Broadway, appears as the Baker's Wife in the Westport Country Playhouse-Baltimore CenterStage co-production of Into the Woods.
The musical has a Tony-winning score by Stephen Sondheim and Tony-winning book by James Lapine. It recently concluded its Baltimore run and will begin performances in Westport May 1 for a run through May 26.
A 3 PM symposium dedicated to the original production will feature Ferland, as well as Tony winner Gleason (who played the Baker's Wife), Zien (who played the Baker) and Mitchell (who played Lucinda). Visit the Playbill Vault page for the original Broadway production of Into the Woods.
The event is free and open to the public.
