Classic Arts News John Pizzarelli and Yellowjackets Jump Up Billboard Jazz Chart New albums from guitarist/vocalist John Pizzarelli and the fusion quartet the Yellowjackets made gains in their second week on the Billboard jazz chart.
Pizzarelli's Knowing You jumped from number 17 to number ten this week, while the Yellowjacket's Altered State moved from number 18 to number 12.

Vocalist Michael Bubl_'s It's Time stayed at number one for the eighth straight week.

Other movers included Marilyn Scott's Nightcap, which reappeared at number 16 after dropping off the chart last week, and Steady Groovin', a compilation from guitarist Charlie Hunter, which debuted at number 21.

On the contemporary jazz chart, Kenny G's at Last... The Duets Album maintained its hold on the number one spot. New albums from pianist George Duke, American/English, and Soulive debuted at number three, number seven, and number 22 respectively.
