Justin Timberlake, Amanda Seyfried and Olivia Wilde will also star in the film, which is set in the near future when the aging gene gets switched off and time, literally, becomes money as people use it to pay for luxuries and to negotiate for their immortality.
Galecki, who appeared frequently in Chicago theatre and on "Roseanne" before his Broadway and TV fame, will play Timberlake's best friend, an alcoholic father who wastes his family's excess time.
This will mark Galecki's first major film role since "Big Bang Theory" began its run in 2007.
