News Jonathan Groff, Cheyenne Jackson and More to Honor Julie Taymor at Sonnet Rep Benefit Jonathan Groff, Cheyenne Jackson, Heidi Rodewald and members of the PigPen Theatre Company will honor Tony Award-winning director Julie Taymor as part of Sonnet Repertory Theatre's Nov. 12 benefit cabaret at the 92YTribeca.

The 6 PM evening, hosted by Spider-Man and Cyrano star Patrick Page, will honor Taymor (The Lion King, Spider-Man, The Green Bird) for her visionary career and support of Sonnet Rep's mission of "classic theatre for the modern planet."

Also scheduled to appear are John Behlmann, Ayo Jackson, Sondre Lerche, Martin Luther McCoy, Rema Webb and Alton F. White. Video tributes will be offered by Alan Cumming, Helen Mirren and Alfred Molina.

The benefit will feature music by Elliot Goldenthal, Sondre Lerche, Ray Leslee, PigPen Theatre Company, Will Reynolds, Heidi Rodewald and Stew, and Ben Toth and Todd Almond.
