Show times at the Manhattan venue are March 4-7 and March 11-14 at 7:30 PM. Cabaretgoers can expect to hear Wilson's renditions of "The Very Thought of You," "God Bless the Child," "Body and Soul," "Good Morning, Heartache," "Them There Eyes," "Don't Explain," "Ain't Nobody's Business If I Do" and "My Old Flame." The evenings, according to press notes, also feature "a few personal reflections from a legend in her own right whose trademark gardenia has always been worn as an homage to Billie, her friend and favorite singer."
Julie Wilson made her Broadway debut in Three to Make Ready and has also been seen on Broadway in Kismet, The Pajama Game, Jimmy, Park and Legs Diamond, earning a Tony nomination for her work in the latter. She toured in productions of Show Boat, Panama Hattie, Silk Stockings, Follies, Company and A Little Night Music, and her West End credits include Kiss Me, Kate; South Pacific; and Bells Are Ringing. In the past few decades Wilson has become one of the most respected and critically acclaimed artists on the cabaret scene. Her recordings are numerous and include "My Old Flame," "Live From the Russian Tea Room" and "Julie Wilson at the St. Regis," among others.
