News   Keenan-Bolger, Skinner, May and Testa Set for Broadway Musicals of 1930; Kudisch Directs Marc Kudisch, most recently seen in the Off-Broadway musical See What I Wanna See, will direct The Broadway Musicals of 1930, which kicks off the sixth season of the acclaimed Broadway By the Year series at Town Hall.

Created and hosted by producer Scott Siegel, the March 6 concert will feature the vocal talents of director Kudisch as well as Celia-Keenan Bolger, Deven May, Jennifer Simard, Miles Phillips, Michael Winther, Shannon Lewis, Sean Hingston, Emily Skinner, Mary Testa, Nancy Anderson and Douglas Ladnier. Show time is 8 PM. In a statement creator Siegel said, "When I discovered the remarkable number of famous songs that were born on Broadway in 1930, I promised myself that I’d spread the wealth and put together one of the largest, if not the largest, cast ever assembled for one Broadway by the Year concert. I wanted the best people in town singing the most stunning music Broadway has ever given us." Concertgoers can expect to hear tunes by Cole Porter, The Gershwins and Rodgers and Hart; song titles will include "I’ve Got a Crush on You," "On the Sunny Side of the Street" and "Get Happy."

The evening will feature musical direction by Ross Patterson.

The Broadway By the Year series will continue April 3 with The Broadway Musicals of 1956. That evening will boast tunes from Bells Are Ringing, Candide, Li'l Abner, My Fair Lady, The Most Happy Fella and Mr. Wonderful.
