Price has been signed for an eight-week season, to Oct. 25 only, and joins a cast that includes Anna-Jane Casey as Velma, Terence Maynard as Billy Flynn, Victor McGuire as Amos Hart and Gina Murray as Mama Morton. Price last starred in the West End when she played New Jersey housewife Roberta in the short-lived stage musical version of Desperately Seeking Susan that ran at the Novello Theatre for two months from mid-October to mid-December in 2007. Prior to that, she took over as Sister Sarah Brown in Guys and Dolls at the Piccadilly Theatre, succeeding Jenna Russell in the role to co-star with Adam Cooper as Sky Masterson and Patrick Swayze as Nathan Detroit. She has also played Sophie in the West End production of Mamma Mia! at the Prince Edward Theatre.

Chicago also continues to play New York's Ambassador Theatre. That production won the Tony Award for Best Revival of a Musical in 1997 as well as awards for actors Bebe Neuwirth and James Naughton, director Walter Bobbie, lighting designer Ken Billington and choreographer Ann Reinking. The original production was directed and choreographed by the late Bob Fosse.
