As previously reported, Butler is going solo with a show at Feinstein's at Loews Regency April 19. The Xanadu and Hairspray star’s 8 PM show will feature songs from her debut CD, "Faith, Trust and Pixie Dust," as well as songs from her musical theatre outings.
It turns out the evening, Butler’s cabaret debut, is more than just another night at the theatre, it’s practically a medical necessity. Video evidence has surfaced to suggest that Butler is suffering – already! – from a serious case of Broadway withdrawal. If the evidence is to be believed, her video co-star is right: She’s got to get back on stage!
