News Kinky Boots Star Billy Porter Shows His Broadway and Soul Tonight on PBS "Live from Lincoln Center" presents Billy Porter: Broadway and Soul April 3 at 9 PM on PBS stations across the country.

Porter won the 2013 Best Actor in a Musical Tony Award for creating the role of unstoppable drag performer Lola in the hit musical Kinky Boots.

The concert was filmed during Porter's Jan. 28 American Songbook concerts at the Appel Room in New York City. The stage star was joined by the Broadway Inspirational Voices.

Songs performed include "But the World Goes ‘Round" (And the World Goes 'Round); "Don't Rain on My Parade" (Funny Girl); as well as songs from Kinky Boots.

The concert has music direction by James Sampliner and was directed for television by Andrew C. Wilk.

Tony Award winner Audra McDonald hosts the series for PBS. "Live from Lincoln Center" will also broadcast a solo concert from Tony Award nominee Norm Lewis April 10.
