News Klassen, Bradley, Greenwood Read Lieut. Nants at Dramatist's Guild, Jan. 25 Stass Klassen, Carol Bradley and David Greenwood will conduct a public reading of Neil Felshman's new play, Lieut. Nants at the Dramatist's Guild on Jan. 25. Based on Yuri Tinyanov's classic 1927 novella, "Lieutenant Kizhe," the reading is directed by Anatole Fourmantchouk, artistic director of the New York Art Theatre (NYAT). The free reading is being presented by NYAT and takes place at 6.30 PM at the Dramatist Guild, located at 1501 Broadway.

The cast for the reading comprises Stass Klassen (Off-Broadway's The Idiot), Carol Bradley (Learning Channel's "Marilyn Monroe in New York") as well as David Greenwood, Jarnes Campbell, David B. Martin, Judy Rhodes, Jed Feuer, Craig Swanson, Stephen Handelman and Alex Motyl.

According to production notes, Tinyanov's novella was "set in Tsarist Russia and examines the results of the fear inspired by dictators." The themes of the piece are said to "pertains to any country that has a Boss as the governor of the People."
