News Kristin Chenoweth to Honor Julie Andrews for Save the Music; Cheyenne Jackson to Host The VH1 Save the Music Foundation will honor stage and screen legend Julie Andrews Nov. 8 at its 2010 Gala at Cipriani Wall Street.

The gala will be hosted by Broadway and "30 Rock" star Cheyenne Jackson and will feature Tony and Emmy Award winner Kristin Chenoweth performing a tribute to the 45th anniversary of the beloved Andrews film musical "The Sound of Music."

In addition to Andrews, Grammy winners John Mayer and John Legend and The ASCAP Foundation will also be honored. Natasha Bedingfield, a member of the VH1 Save the Music Ambassador Alumni Group, will also perform.

Chenoweth, Legend and Mayer are part of the 2011 Ambassador Class. The class also includes Amber Riley of "Glee," Ciara, Jewel, Lifehouse and Sara Bareilles.

An exclusive online auction to benefit the Save the Music Foundation and to celebrate "The Sound of Music" will begin Nov. 3 and continue through Nov. 23. Entitled "My Favorite Things," the auction's prizes will include an exclusive Cirque du Soleil package to Wintuk and Viva Elvis and a Broadway show package featuring tickets to Memphis and Jersey Boys along with cast meet and greets. Guests will be able to bid electronically at the gala's cocktail reception.
