Kwofe Coleman will take on Managing Director of The Muny, the oldest largest outdoor musical theatre venue in America, located in St. Louis, Missouri. Previously The Muny's Marketing and Communications Director, Coleman has worked at The Muny in a variety of capacities since 1998, sharing and spreading its vision.
“I am both honored and thrilled by this opportunity to evolve my contribution to this incredible staff and institution as managing director,” said Coleman in a statement. “Having had the great fortune of working in various parts of this organization for its past 20 seasons, I have seen and participated in the remarkable spirit of collaboration and community that makes The Muny such a special place, on both sides of the footlights."The role is a mixture of organizational, business, and financial dealings, as well as articulating and maintaining the artistic and institutional mission. Coleman will also work to strengthen and deepen The Muny's engagement in the St. Louis community.
