Two last-minute performances have been added to the run of What The Butler Saw at Glendale, CA's A Noise Within. Part of the company's spring repertory, the comedy started previews March 12, opened March 19 and was to run through May 15 but will now conclude this weekend with added shows May 22-23. Joe Orton's fast-paced 1967 farce follows the twisted comic seductions of Nick the bellboy who wants Mrs. Prentice who only wants Dr. Prentice to fetch her drink while the good doctor wants nothing more than see Geraldine (who merely wants a job) naked. Enter Dr. Rance, the government inspector, who wants to understand it all.
A Noise Within is located at 234 S. Brand Blvd. For tickets (prices begin at $18), call (818) 546-1924.
