News LAByrinth Theatre to Hold Auction, Featuring "Celebrity Frames," March 13-20 LAByrinth Theatre Company, the New York-based group which presented In Arabia, We'd All Be Kings and Stopless, will hold a silent auction to benefit the company, March 20. Auction items will be available for inspection and bidding beginning March 13. The event will take place at Center Stage, 48 W. 21st St., on the fourth floor.

LAByrinth Theatre Company, the New York-based group which presented In Arabia, We'd All Be Kings and Stopless, will hold a silent auction to benefit the company, March 20. Auction items will be available for inspection and bidding beginning March 13. The event will take place at Center Stage, 48 W. 21st St., on the fourth floor. Central to the auction will be LAByrinth's collection of "Celebrity Frames." Among the items will be frames decorated by playwright John Patrick Shanley, and film actresses Julia Roberts and Susan Sarandon. Shanley's frame, for instance, is adorned with a signed original copy of his Oscar-winning screenplay for "Moonstruck."

Also on the block are an original artwork by artist Julian Schnabel and Rivka Katvan photographs of Angela Lansbury, a scene back stage at Sweeney Todd, John Cameron Mitchell as Hedwig and Alan Cumming as the Emcee in Cabaret. (Katvan's theatre-related work will soon be published in a coffee-table book.)

March 20 will also see a benefit performance for the theatre, directed by Jill DeArmon and featuring performances by Philip Seymour Hoffman, Sam Rockwell, Danny Hoch and David Deblinger.
