This fall, Joe's Pub — the cabaret situated just off the Public Theatre in Manhattan - has hosted shows starring composers William Finn (A New Brain) and David Yazbek (The Full Monty). Continuing in that tuneful tradition, the nightspot will on Oct. 16 greet songwriter Michael John LaChiusa. Additional shows will be on Oct. 23 and 30. It was hard to miss the handiwork of LaChiusa last season. Both his The Wild Party and Marie Christine graced Broadway, each garnering several Tony nominations. The Joe's Pub show will feature "an eclectic, wicked revue of songs" by the songwriter, titled La La LaChiusa. The cast will include Judy Blazer, Matt Bogart, Nathan Lee Graham and Alice Playten, with musical direction by Seth Rudetsky.
