News L.A.'s Cinegrill Offers Choice Theatre Acts, Dec. 13-28 The Cinegrill nightclub, located in the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel, is offering several choice theatrical acts in the month of December 2000. The famed female impersonator Jim Bailey will return with his perennially popular The Judy Garland Christmas Show. Bailey has revised the act and has added a new selection of Garland favorites. He will perform it on the nights of Dec. 13, 15-16, 20-23, 27-30.

California Artists Radio Theatre, a company of actors under the direction of Peggy Webber, will perform Little Women Book Two on Dec. 16 at 10 AM and 1 PM. The family show stars Beverly Garland, Janette Waldo, Shelley Long, John Astin, Nancy Cartwright and William Windham. CART's ticket line is (323) 851-4232.

Impersonators will take the stage again on Dec. 27 and 28 (at 1 PM) in Imagine in Concert, with a varied cast delivering impressions of such celebs as Madonna, Cher, Fran Dresher, Elvis, Marilyn Monroe and Charlie Chaplin.

Cinegrill will close out the month with New Year's Eve 2001 With Kaye Ballard. Musical theatre star Ballard will be backed up by Michael Orland's ensemble. The $195 ticket price includes noisemakers, party favors and a champagne toast at midnight.
