Performances are at the Boston Center for the Arts' Leland Center. Tickets are $15. For information, call (617) 426 0320.
Anna Weiss, Cullen's third play, questions "recovered memories" as hypnotherapist Anna Weiss discovers a history of parental sexual abuse in the past of Lynn, her patient and live-in companion. But did Weiss really unearth these terrible remembrances or did she invent them?
Weiss received its premiere at Scotland's Traverse Theatre in 1997 and later won the Edinburgh Theatre Festival Fringe 1997 First Award for Best Play.
Martin Blanco directs Nicole Jesson (Lynn), Lynne Moulton (Weiss) and Fred Robbins (David). Caroline Kaneshiro designed the scenery and Al Fairbrother, the lighting. *
The rest of Delvena's 1998 season includes Arthur Miller's The Crucible, Oct. 16-25, and Stephen King's Misery, Oct. 29-Nov. 7.
