LOS ANGELES -- Last Chance to catch Raymond J. Barry's play about the battle of the sexes between an abstract painter and his lover/muse, Once in Doubt, which ends its extended run July 11. The show opened May 22 at the Odyssey Theatre for a six-week run initially scheduled through July 4.
The play has been performed in New York, Chicago, Philadelphia and Los Angeles. The L.A. run took place at two different theatres, the CAST and the LATC, for which Barry received a 1990 Drama Critics Circle Award and a Drama-Logue Award for both acting and writing.
In this return trip, Barry will play Harry the painter, Kim O'Kelley-Leigh his lover Flo. The third character, Mr. Wagner, will be performed by Biff Yeager.
Bernard White, last seen at the Odyssey as an actor in A Perfect Ganesh, is the director.
Markus Maurette has designed the sets and lighting for producers Ron Sossi and Don Schneider. Once In Doubt plays through July 11 at the Odyssey Theatre, 2055 S. Sepulveda Blvd.
