LOS ANGELES -- Sandra Tsing Loh brings her solo show, Bad Sex With Bud Kemp, to the Tiffany Theatre Oct. 5 for a six-week run. Written and directed by Loh, the show made its Off-Broadway debut last May at the Second Stage Theatre. Contemporary satirist Loh chronicles "one thirty-something woman's search for, well, if not love, at least a non-humiliating relationship," said a company spokesperson.
Loh's weekly commentaries on life in Los Angeles are heard on radio station KCRW. Her book, Depth Takes a Holiday: Essays From Lesser Los Angeles, is a perennial local best-seller.
The West Coast version of her solo show will be uniquely tailored to Los Angeles. David Schweizer directs.
Bad Sex With Bud Kemp runs through Nov. 15 at the Tiffany, 8532 Sunset Blvd. Call (310) 289-2999 for details.
