News Lawrence, Gets, Fowler and More Featured in Williamstown Cabaret July 13-15 The Williamstown Theatre Festival continues with a cherished local tradition July 13-15 when it presents the first set of Cabaret performances for 2006.

For many years past, the acting ensemble at Williamstown was given a chance to stretch their artistic muscles at the Cabarets, which are typically held a few times a summer. Actors not known for singing would try their hand at a standard (Dylan Baker sings!), and singers would deliver numbers not usually found in their repertoire (Laura Benanti goes country western!)—sometimes songs they authored themselves. Interns and lowly ensemble players were also given the chance to sing. The following line-up is expected for the July 13-15 performances on the Nikos Stage:

Nikki Renee Daniels: "Home"
Catherine Brunell: "Gimme Gimme"
Gloria Reuben: "Love is in Need of Love Tonight"
Remy Auberjonois, Sarah Townsend Turner and Danny Mefford, "I Enjoy Drinking"
Sharon Lawrence & Ryan Nearhoff (a WTF apprentice): "Just in Love"
Benjamin Walker: "An Original Song"
Abby Marsh & Marvin: "Marvin the Apprentice"
Matt Canevaugh: "A Love Song"
Beth Fowler: "Send in the Clowns"
Lance Rubin: "Lance's Girls"
Malcolm Gets & Greg Hildreth: "Sisters"
Ian Scott McGregor & Liz Wisan: "I Will Follow You Into The Dark"
Malcolm Gets and Apprentices: "Heart & Music"

The next set of Caberet shows are scheduled for Aug. 10-12.
