The actor will be the latest in the "Broadway Spotlight" series, which presents new Broadway actors in an intimate setting. Show time is 8 PM.
Sarich will be joined onstage by special guests Ann Mandrella, Eric Svejcar, Steve Gilewski and Brad Carbone. The evening, according to press notes, "will mix [Sarich's] love of storytelling and melody with his affinity for good, dirty, simple rock music — imagine Brian Wilson breaking up a bar fight between MC5 and the Stooges!" Concertgoers can also expect to hear tunes from Sarich's International Victim project.
Previous "Broadway Spotlight" concerts have showcased the talents of Spelling Bee's Lisa Howard, Sweeney Todd's Manoel Felciano and Donna Lynne Champlin, Avenue Q's Ann Harada, Barrett Foa and John Tartaglia, Dance of the Vampires' Max von Essen, Les Miz’s Lauren Kennedy, Hairspray's Shoshana Bean, Into the Woods' Chad Kimball, Aida's Felicia Finley, Rent's Anthony Rapp, Wicked's Idina Menzel and Funny Girl’s Leslie Kritzer.
Drew Sarich has been seen on Broadway in Les Misérables and Lestat and Off-Broadway in Tony n' Tina's Wedding and Jacques Brel Is Alive and Well and Living in Paris. He played Quasimodo in the world premiere of Disney's The Hunchback of Notre Dame and also appeared in European productions of Hair, Dracula, Barbella The Musical and Hedwig and the Angry Inch.
