Performances will begin Jan. 27, 2011, prior to an official opening Feb. 3 for a run through Feb. 19.

The autobiographical show, which played at New York's Midtown Theatre earlier this year, is based on his popular memoir of the same name. The show offers a personal take on Hollywood, fame, addiction, gay culture and learning to love oneself.

Jordan, who is best known for his Emmy Award-winning performance as Beverley Leslie, nemesis of Karen Walker, has also appeared on TV's "Ally McBeal," "Boston Legal," "Monk," "Murphy Brown" and "Sordid Lives."

My Trip Down the Pink Carpet tells how Jordan, raised in a conservative family in Chattanooga, TN, boarded a Greyhound bus bound for L.A. with $1,200 sewn into his underpants and never looked back. The show is directed by David Galligan, with designs by Michael Hotopp, lighting by David Howe and sound by Richard Brooker. It is produced by Bruce Robert Harris and Jack W. Batman, Dennis Grimaldi, Lily Tomlin/Jane Wagner, Jean McFaddin/Susan Falk, Thomas Hopkins, and Daniel Wallace in association with Julian Stoneman.

Exact dates and box-office details are still to be confirmed. For further details, visit www.mytripdownthepinkcarpet.com.
