Well, which was first seen at New York's Public Theater before transferring to Broadway's Longacre Theatre in 2006, will begin performances Sept. 4 prior to an official opening Sept. 10. The limited engagement will play through Sept. 27.

The cast will include Natalie Casey (best known for her TV appearances in "Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps" and seen onstage in the stage version of Fame) in the role originally played by the author herself: New York performance artist, Lisa, who was sick and then she got well. Her neighborhood, too, was sick, then it got well. "It's as simple as that – or is it?" asks the press materials. Also in the cast is veteran actress Sarah Miles, who made her film debut in 1962 as a schoolgirl in "Terms of Trial" opposite Laurence Olivier, and subsequently appeared in such classics as Joseph Losey's "The Servant" and Michelangelo Antonioni's "Blowup," before being Oscar-nominated for Best Actress for her performance in David Lean's "Ryan's Daughter."

Well will be followed by SH*T-M*X, which is described as a "funny yet gritty play showing just what it is to be a teenager," according to press materials. It will run Sept. 30 (also the press night) to Oct. 25. "Raggedy Anne is gagging to go out with LB, but he has a few guilty secrets. Dirty Debbie isn't really helping matters; all she's concerned about is finishing her first erotic novel. Maybe Bent Ben will find out what's wrong. And will anyone catch the eye of the elusive Harry the Hottie?"

This will be followed by a week of 45-minute workshop presentations of six new musicals, presented under the umbrella of Perfect Pitch, running Nov. 25-29. Each performance will feature extracts from two of the shows being presented.

Potted Potter the Unauthorised Harry Experience – a Parody by Dan and Jeff will return, having previously been seen here last year, for a run from Dec. 2 (prior an official opening on Dec. 4) to Jan. 3, 2009. In Potted Potter comic double act Dan and Jeff seek to present a digested version of the entire "Harry Potter" series in 80 minutes.
