Former Miss Saigon star, Liz Callaway, will perform her evening devoted to the music of the sixties on June 20 and 21 in Arlington Heights, IL.

Callaway, who is scheduled to return to Broadway next season in the Burt Bacharach musical The Look of Love, will offer three concerts at the Metropolis Performing Arts Centre on June 21 (8 PM) and June 22 (5 PM and 8:30 PM). A musical-theatre favorite who starred Off-Broadway this season in The Spitfire Grill, Callaway will offer selections from her newest CD, "The Beat Goes On." Among the songs concert-goers can expect to hear are "Feelin' Groovy," "Up, Up and Away," "Monday, Monday," "Leavin' On a Jet Plane," "Wouldn't It Be Nice?," "Downtown," "Half As Big As Life" and "Moon River."

Liz Callaway made her Broadway debut in the original cast of Stephen Sondheim's Merrily We Roll Along. For her work in the short-lived musical Baby, she received a Tony Award nomination for Best Featured Actress in a Musical, and her other Broadway credits include The Three Musketeers, Miss Saigon and Cats. With her sister Ann Hampton Callaway, she created "Sibling Revelry," an acclaimed cabaret act that the duo continue to showcase around the country.

The Metropolis Performing Arts Centre is located at 111 W. Campbell Street in downtown Arlington Heights. Call (847) 577-2121 for tickets, which are priced at $30.
