Film & TV News London’s All About Eve, With Gillian Anderson and Lily James, Will Head to Movie Theatres National Theatre Live brings the West End production to cinemas in April.

Fasten your seat belts: London’s upcoming stage adaptation of All About Eve is heading to the big screen. National Theatre Live will broadcast the West End production in movie theatres around the world April 11.

Ivo van Hove, currently represented on Broadway with Network, directs the stage adaptation of the 1950 film. Gillian Anderson (star of Netflix’s new Sex Education) and Lily James (seen on screen last year in Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again) star as Margo Channing and Eve Harrington, respectively, the roles made famous by Bette Davis and Anne Baxter.

The production, from Sonia Friedman and Fox Stage Productions, begins performances at the Noël Coward Theatre February 2. The cast also includes Julian Ovenden, Monica Dolan, Ian Drysdale, Tsion Habte, Jessie Mei Li, Sheila Reid, Rhashan Stone, Stanley Townsend, and Philip Voyzey.
