Willy Russell's Blood Brothers is a musical drama, laced with comedy and set in Liverpool, about two twins separated at birth. Set against a background of the class divide in post-war Britain, it tells a gripping and violent story of love, loss and an unavoidable fate.
The strong story line, matched by the musical numbers (one of which, "Tell Me It's Not True" became a solo chart hit), has made Blood Brothers one of the longest-running and most popular shows in the West End.
Blood Brothers has now announced a further extension of its booking period, to Sept. 27, 2003.
