Alone It Stands, a comedy about a rugby match between an Irish and a New Zealand team, will open at the Duchess Theatre on January 2 for a six-week season.
The fact that six actors represent the cast of 60 characters involved in and around the match becomes less extraordinary when you realize that the producer, Pat Moylan, produced Stones In His Pockets, now an international success, where two actors play the cast and crew of a Hollywood movie and the Irish village where it is being filmed.
